Other than the shaved head nothing is really new in my life besides the fact that I have had to cut down on my training time a little bit. I love to get out and bike and run and swim but I have recently started a new job, so I guess that is something that is new in my life, and it has taken a lot of the time that I had to train out of my life but I still manage to get it in. I was pretty stoked on this day when the following picture was taken. I had just got done with a run and did the calculations and saw that I was averaging seven and a half minute miles. That isn't too bad for a kid my size haha. Speaking of size, I have lost a lot of weight lately, I have dropped 40 pounds in the past three months. I feel so much better, especially in the back area.

This is my new bike that I bought in January... I love it. Because of the cold weather I haven't been able to use it as much as I would like to but there is always a day here and there that is sunny and semi not freezing. Now that the weather is warming up I am stoked to get out and use it much much more. I have a goal to have over 1ooo miles on it by the end of summer.

Well that is all for the day, but as I said earlier, I will and would love to leave you with some words of advice. As the wise Dr. Albert Schweitzer said: "An optimist is a person who sees a green light everywhere. The pessimist sees only the red light. But the truly wise person is color blind." Remeber all. When life is great and when it gives you lemons just paint them gold and put a smile on. Much love!
