San Carlos...

Hospitals and surgery rooms. Crazy things happen in Mexican hospitals one of which is letting american pre-dental, and pre-med students into the operating room to hang out, observe, and sometimes even assist in the sugeries. This is Nick and I just agter walking in the OR and getting scrubbed up.

Javier was one of the little kids that we saw at the orphanage. It is funny to see how much all of these little kids love to see their tall friends from America and how much they love to play with the cameras and have their pictures taken. It is a humbling experience to be go to these places and spend some time with little kids that can have a day of fun with nothing more than a few gringos that don't speak their language, a camera, and a set of monkey bars

She sells sea shells down by the sea shore. Nick and I took a nice afternoon walk on the beach and came across these awesome shells that had these bright pink stripes on them. I decided to set them up as so and see if I could have a little artistic flare come out, and I am glad to say that I think I pulled it off.

Jordan, Me, Nick, Noe, Brandon, and Eric. Great friendships made and fun days spent basking in the sun and absorbing in the Mexican culture. Us sitting over the harbor, in Guaymas after going to "el mercado" in the city.

Bliss
San Carlos was amazing. Everything from the experience we had, to the friends that we made and the time that was just enjoying beautiful sunsets like this.

It's like a little hideaway...

Between the stresses of school, work, family, and life that get thrown at each of us everyday, it is important that we all have things that make us happy, smile, and say thank you. I have had that opportunity a lot lately and am just super stoked on where my life is going right now.

So spring brings great weather, fun times, and special times to be had with special people. These last two weekends have been two of the more fun weekends that I have had in a long time... Lisa came down to visit and we for sure had a great time. We for sure did a lot of things that Southern Utah has to offer: Skeet shooting, hiking, off-roading, four-wheeling, running, batting cages, mini gold, dinner on the patio with beautiful weather, and biking all around on beach cruisers.

Lisa and I just after shooting.

So the first time that we went out shooting the day started off with Lisa getting lucky on her very first shot and peppering the pigeon that was thrown, to her consistently knocking them down every time that we go out. But hey, sometimes all it takes is a lucky first shot.

Out on the trails of Santa Clara

The four-wheeling was super fun as well until the one that I was on started to run out of gas quite a ways out in the hills and every time that I would try and flag Lisa down to stop she just thought that I was waving and continued on until finally she stopped and we turned around and made it home.

"Somewhere only we know"

So on Saturday when we took our little bike ride it was just beautiful. We cruised up through these pastures with horses running around, along a little creek, and came across this little area by a stream that was quite and relaxing. In this area there was a rope swing and we thought that it would be a good idea to hope on and swing, well that Lisa hopped on cause I thought that I would break the tree limb. So she hopped on and I pushed her for a little bit and was able to talk this beautiful picture.

Well as I said things are going well right now and I am super content as to where I find myself right now and am very grateful for the opportunities that have presented themselves to me. As always my friends remember the wise words of a man name Slug... "When Life give you lemons, paint that shit gold" Much love to all.
